- Adopted this from my uncle for a $267 tow. It's just been up until recently that I've been able to work on it but has its issues. Taking inventory, I have seen that the ignition switch is bypassed with switch that i need to press at the same time I turn the key. Which is one of the main issues I need to figure out. Other than that, I have two different block builds going on at the same time. The main focus is on the 25 psi build.
Upon teardown, I found that the multi surface clutch had 7 of the 8 pads torn off the trans side of the plate and measured 1.2mm of crankwalk! Gah! She really has not been treated right.
Currently looking to build/ rebuild her as she sits to an upgraded OEM standard just shy of requiring engine management. Stories from the elders say this bish was tested at 11.6 1/4 mile so that is what I am aiming to improve upon.
