- Background
- Update - Sadly had to let the 95 GST go due to the hood flying up and shattering the windshield and denting the hood very badly. Soon after the bolt for the crank came loose and caused the timing gear to slide out enough that the crankshaft position sensor plate cut the crankshaft position sensor and left me on the side of the road. After being quoted over $300 for a replacement windshield and lots of body work I almost lost hope. But lucky someone was selling a 97 she'll with a few spare goodies such as a transmission. Picked up the car that weekend and finally a week later had time to strip my car and drop my motor and transmission into it. Slowly but surely I've gotten almost everything done, and soon it will stalk the streets again.
(Previous Statement) - Picked this car up after previous owner got into a fender bender. I've been doing little stuff to it here and there but my pockets are a little light so I've been cheap on it for now. Mostly I've been correcting the previous owners lack of attention to detail and working on my personal OCD about certain things such as wire crimps and oil/dirt all over the motor. I've got a long line of mechanical skills so I do all the work myself.
