- I bought this around the time I joined the forum. I'm the second owner, and this car pretty much taught me how to drive a stick. I had it paid off in two years and almost immediately began tearing it down with all kinds of big (and silly) plans floating between my ears. I was in my mid-twenties and wanted a race-car, I'm sure there are plenty here who know those feels... At any rate, I ran out of money (even while working 50 hours a week), I stopped finding time (I was working on cars 50 hours a week, and a mechanic's car never gets finished), and I eventually moved out of Illinois to Ohio. I'm looking to get 400HP to the wheels. But, mostly, I just want to be able to drive my Eclipse again...
