- Background
- i was in the market for a daily I had blown the transmission in my EK and didn’t want to put more money into it. After getting stranded at work for the second time that week I decided to walk to the neares train station. On my walk I found a beat up old eclipse with a for sale sign, I knocked on the guys door and ended up driving it home that day. Fast forward six months and I develop rod knock. Well after buying a more reliable daily and having invested so heavily into keeping the eclipse on the road In that short time span. I decided that I’d never see that money back for a 99 RS so I decided to build its as far as my wallet would allowed no time frame just bits and pieces where I could now we’re about two months into the build with no expected end date maybe 8 months to a year is the hope.
