      Hey i think brakes is always my first mod! I would rather stop before i do engine bits myself too! So im with him on the brembos and stock bov LOL,

      It comes down to what you are doing with your car, you will not reach stock brakes limits, until you start road racing. Even AutoX in stock(ish) classes does not require brake upgrade!

      On the flip side, 2G BOV and T25 turbo are two of the worst parts on those cars! They are designed to keep the boost down! So you do not get to truly enjoy your 2G until those two are gone ;)

      My stock fwd brakes were crappy and inhad to ditched or upgrade them, i think our setup is alot under sized anyway, while brembos maybe overkill straight off i still think its the better then paying for pads and rotors that only help but not alot myself
