- I bought the car from a close friend that didn't have time for the constant problems these cars could possibly have. It requires a lot of work and a lot of parts to get it inspected for license plates and the ability to drive it on the road again. Eventually I would like to completely strip the engine bay and remove the A/C, cruise control, power steerring, heater core and blower case to make it a summer car after I give the body everything it needs to look brand new again. I'll end up tucking the wire harness after painting the engine bay to just have engine, big turbo and trans cleaned and newish looking again. I would like to have the engine built with ported and polished head, forged pistons & rods, aftermarket camshafts and titanium valve springs so I can get a safe 400 HP. I want to rebuild the differentials. Sandblast & paint the subframes as they are the only rusty things on this car. Park it before the first snow fall and drive it after the salt is washed off my local roads.
