- bought this car recently and seems like previous owner did lots of mods but had no end goal, many things need adjusted/ finished...needs lots of tlc
Update...finally got the motor torn down and found bad #2 rod bearings...makes me happy tho...I like finding the "smoking gun" when things are not working/sounding right...sent head, block, crank and more to machine shop to have everything gone through 11-24-17
Begin may 18...got bottom end back together, new bearings, oil pump, tensioner, gaskets, etc...everything very nice and smooth, still need to do valve stem seals then can set the head and tranny and back in she goes.
