- The only thing I want is to have a no lag turbo setup. Compound I think its called and with a bigger Turbo giving me around 500 WHP.
- Background
- I bought the car a few years ago mostly stock. Ran great. Motor had just been rebuilt.I wanted more power so started with a nice exhaust header. Then a boost controller. Then I let a guy install a new Stage 3 clutch and chromoly flywheel. But then made the mistake of asking him to install HkS Delta .272 lift cams. This jerk completely wrecked the entire motor. punched holes in pistons, bent or broke every valve, scratched the cylinder walls. Then to top it off he wanted ME to pay for all the damage he did. He absolutely would not take responsibility for the damage. So I wrote it off and got the best DSM mechanic within 150 miles to build my new motor. The car ran good when he was done except for the Ebay 1000cc injectors I bought and the Ebay 20g Turbo that failed after 100 miles. I replaced the turbo with an EVO 3 16g and the injectors with FIC 850cc's. My plan was to race the car at Virginia Itnl' Raceway. ( Road Track ) Have to sell the car now though because of surgeries on my foot and left ankle that won't let me push the clutch in well enough anymore..... Very sad. The interior is pretty nice especially for being 30 years old. Just redid the headliner with some cool material.
