- Car was being sold for $500, and I needed a parts car so I went ahead and picked it up. They told me it needed a new engine because it was knocking. I took it back to my shop and upon further inspection, it had 497,000 miles!!
I did a little poking around and got it started. It sounded like it had a bad exhaust leak and wouldn’t rev past 4000rpm. I checked the oil and noticed that it was very milky, so I have concluded that it has a blown head gasket. That’s all!
All the parts are fairly new, it has been taken care of (excluding the exterior) everything on it is bone stock.. EXCEPT the brakes which turned out to be Stoptech BBKs!
Definitely a gem of a find, and one of the highest mileage vehicles I have seen in person!
