- So, if you can't go back to the '90s, maybe you can drive around looking for them.
When I was younger and had more hair, I special-ordered a '91 Laser. Most enjoyable daily-driver I ever owned. Yes, it really did look like the one we see at Wikipedia, except mine had steel wheels and those plastic turbine hubcaps. It was our wedding getaway car. Add a few years, and suddenly the baby's carseat isn't so easy to fit in there. Sold it to a German college student, I hope he had fun with it.
So now I have three sorta-cars, none of which will pass inspection via my local and legit-minded mechanic. "Silver" runs, barely. (Never buy a used car with a bra on it. Mucho Rusto.) "Red" was a rolling container of parts. "White" is the Recipient Car. Acquired through Rix Racing, spent most of its life on a farm in Missouri, and needs some de-modification in order to become street-legal again.
So! Off we go!
