- I've owned the car close to 15 years, did a stage 1 slowboy racing 2.3 stroker right after buying it. Right after the 3 bolt rear blew up and found out it was the wrong gear ratio from a auto car. Found a 4 bolt from a manual and then the transmission ate itself. Got that rebuilt from Shepherd's and things seemed good besides the clutch slipping and fixing intercooler piping roadside until I blew the head gasket. Sooo f*** this car and for 11 years it has sat on jack stands in my parents garage. Just got it to my house where I now have the time, tools, and money to play.
I've been stock piling parts for a few months and want to completely rebuild the car from the back to the engine, addressing all of the maintenance, suspension, and drivetrain before rebuilding the engine.
