- It came with a "cold" air intake, full exhaust from headers back, MSD Ignition System, and Short Throw Shifter.

- Background
- A guy listed it on Facebook market place for $500 obo. Said its locked up and wont turn over and has sat for 7 years. I said well dang I can get more at the scrap yard and parting it out than that. I pulled $500 out of the bank account and asked my oldest step son if he like the car and he said "YEA" so we went and looked at it. I had $300 in one pocket and $200 in the other pocket. After looking at it, I realized it wasn't the turbo version and said "Damien (my step son) how much money do you have?" To which he pulled his wallet out and counted out $71, and I pulled out the $200 and asked if the guy would take $271 dollars for it and before I could finish he said "yes my wife wants it gone!" Well I'll be dipped, had I known that I would have only offered him $100 plus the $71 but hindsight is 20/20. So I called a tow truck and had them come pick it up. Cost me $291 for the towing. So at this point we have just over $560 into it. I can still scrap it and part it out for more than that. But my step son has fallen in love with the car and wants to keep building it. The only thing we have done is put a new battery in it, tested the starter and alternator (both good) and ordered some new door handles as the driver side was already broken and once we got it home I broke the passenger side one. But to him that's already "building it". Its actually pretty funny watching him have to climb through the trunk into the front to open the doors HAHA!!!! So I have spent many hours searching and looking for parts. The only thing I don't understand is the whole mega squirt thingy ma bobber doohickey gizmo gadget device, but in my defense I haven't actually looked at it or researched it, yet. So the plans are to do some minor upgrades to the internals, then slap a turbo on it. I'm looking to get enough horsepower to when Damien gets on it, it makes whatever girl he has in the passenger seat squirm and want to shift his gears (not sure if I can say that on here, good thing I typed it instead).
