So here is a car that came in looking rough. It was so covered in pollen that it had a puke colored tint to it that screamed Covid at me. Hence the name.

Now to tell the whole story of this car you do need to know about a couple of other DSMs I have owned.

You can go check out that car, see some of the photos of the carnage that car went through. The story of Olivia didn't really end with that post though. You see, her heart (engine) was pulled and placed on an engine stand. For years it was just moved from one corner to the other. That is until of course, Covidia came into the picture.

So the heart is transplanted and the car can breathe. At this point I still needed to find a rear end to go in.

When I wrote about Bobby Brown, you can read about how that one was swapped from AWD Auto to FWD Manual. I mentioned how "Doing an AWD to FWD conversion is easy, just have to remove the drive shaft and plug the holes on the rear bumpkin."

So, when it came time to find a rear diff and axles to go in, low and behold, what do I find? A rear bumpkin with two makeshift axle cups that we made for Bobby Brown all those years ago.

Saying this car has sentimental value to me is an understatement at this point.

I don't plan to do a lot to this car build wise, but I will be prototyping a head unit build out of a Raspberry Pi in it.

This daily driver has made it's maiden voyage successfully. It's throwing a CEL likely due to an 02 sensor, and/or emissions delete. This shell is a TSi AWD but the block originally came from a N/A FWD. I'm actually not sure if I have a ECU from a turbo car or non, but it is stock so I can't get readings without pulling the code from a led test light, but it has a hiccup that leads me to believe an 02 sensor may be bad.

But she fires right up every time on the slightest crank. Perfect for DDing
