Bought the car stock with goals of only making around 450-500 and have a fun street car.. The car smoked on deceleration. I assumed it was the valve stem seals. Investigated further and determined the motor was shot. Number 4 Piston Skirt was destroyed along with the cylinder wall and all of the Cam Journals. Pulled that motor and built the motor that is in it currently. (still only planning to make around 500 on a 6262 and E85) Decided to dive into some electrical decluttering and eliminated majority of the things I wasn't using (ABS, SRS, Anti-Theft ETC) that led into me rewiring the (Then) 25 Year Old Engine Harness. Did a complete rewire from the ECU (Sheridan) Connections to the Engine Bay (OHM Racing) Connections with new wire and Loom, didn't want to have to chase phantom electrical issues later down the line. Somewhere in there I found some really good deals on parts such as the fuel system that is currently in the car. The Wheels that are currently on the car and that pretty much opened the flood gates for a full on drag build. it has taken longer than anticipated but the last piece to this puzzle at the moment is the manifold which is expected mid February 2023 and expected to be on the track in the spring of 2023.
