- Background
- I bought this car back in 2014 and essentially had no idea what I was getting myself into. Fast forward three years after going through tech school and becoming a full time technician I had blown the head gasket on the original motor and got a really good deal on a freshly rebuilt 4g63 from a friend who had given up on his 1G build. This time I really had no idea what I was getting myself into and ended up getting discouraged and abandoning the project. I've decided to pick it up again and give it another shot! I certainly don't need this car to be the fastest thing in the world, I honestly will be happy if I can ever get it to move again. I have plans to take a full 8-10 hour day once a month and make slow but steady progress on the swap, giving myself time to research, plan, and save up money.
