1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST Vehicle Profile & Build Thread
Street Build 

Hello! I am new to the DSM community. I’ve owned 2 4g GTs and wanted to get into the holy grail of the eclipse world. I just picked up this 97 Gst shell. It’s rust free and came with a rebuilt motor and trans. I’m excited to learn and get it running!

Injen intake, fmic, not sure which brand, thermal racing exhaust. Aftermarket downpipe, not sure specs, it’s wrapped with hi temp wrap.

Background
I’m the third owner. It was owned by the first owner for 19 years. Then bought and sat in a garage while the engine and trans were being rebuilt due to an apparent knocking issue. Sat until I bought it due to previous owner being busy with other projects.
