Street Build

My favorite car I've ever built and restored 99 eclipse oz rally edition. All stock exterior. Slight performance mods for now... fun dream car. Like to improve it over time.

Rebuild the auto transmission ( a604/41te for non turbo cars) with turbo pt cruiser internals and a shift fix kit for firmer shifts.

Want to eventually do a turbo with forged rods and pistons. With oem side mounted gst/gsx intercooler. Aftermarket ecu or solution with oem( might have found one, doing research)
Background
Always wanted a 2g eclipse. Was looking for a manual, and was wanting a gst/gsx. But I fell in love with this 10th anniversary oz rally edition- automatic... so for 500 dollars in decent condition with a blown motor, I jumped on it. Fully restored and repainted the car, not mint but looks good. And rebuilt a stock engine for it ( should of did forged internals, but wasn't making money then, 2020, like I do now)
Did the header then. Just did the exhaust recently. Cars been running good for over 1k miles. Gonna slowly start building it. Make as much feasible non turbo. Then low boost turbo it while I gather forged internals and a spare block for a crazy all out build. In hindsight should of logically bought as least a gst. But I love the car and I'm happy with all the memories and work I put in it. No getting rid of it now. It's family, and a part of me. I built it going through a rough time figuring out life, mostly women ( Heartbreakers)😆. life made since building a DSM! So I'm building it slowly for more reasonable power.
I'm getting ready to do a crazy turbo 2002 mitsubishi lancer build. I'm gonna learn everything building that while I drive and enjoy my DSM before I turbo that.
