- I had been looking for a GST or GSX for about 6-7 months with out any luck. Found a few but wasn’t in great condition with the exception of one or two that had been sold shortly after I inquired about them. I’ve always been in love with the 2G ever since my aunt got one as a graduation present back in 1997, I knew then that I wanted one now 24 years later I have one. So I ran across this 98 GST on fb market 12/27/20 and bought it the next day. Have about $6,212 into the car as of today 03/25/21 with about 3k more going into it in the next few weeks. Car should be making close to 450hp-500hp after I’m done with the build. Buying a built trans soon as well as paint and wheels and brake upgrade then I’ll be done it’s been a journey. A lot of the cost went into buying little pieces that was missing from the blot and head it was a complete from 0-100 build which lead to the cost mentioned.
