Please explain the background I'm curious now

1. I was on my way to work going about 40 down a notoriously busy street when a cheerleader jumped out from in front of a parked SUV and landed on my car. Apparently she was skipping down the side street and didn't even stop. She bounced off the hood bump, ass shattered the windshield then flew over the roof and I saw her land on the street in my side view.
  I thought I killed her. She only got superficial wounds. The car is now named Christina.
