my first time at the 1/4 mile track
living in san diego we have no 1/4 mile tracks and the closest one is 2 hours north up by LA and they rarely have open racing. what we do have in SD is an 1/8 mile track setup in the chargers football stadium (qualcomm) parking lot so technically this was my first time racing my car at an actual "track".
i tracked the car untuned on an SAFC after i got home though i was so pissed at my time/trap speed i ordered link v3 and its on its way to my doorstep as i type this. anyway, heres the video of my first time racing the car at the track... enjoy my botched awd launch and poor 1/4 time for the mods i have.

id like to thank the camera girls alex (vergetsi), rigo (camposr), & rene (SD99GST) for filming and talking crap even though all of their cars currently can't move on there own.
id also like to thank the announcer for being a jackass...
HTA68, FP2 cams, & E85 runs 12.0 @ 116
Finally made it to the 1/4 mile track on my new setup after coming off the dyno with 437 awhp/387 tq. For more info on the modifications go to my HTA68, FP2 cams, E85 thread.
I'd like to thank Kris (banishedmunk) for all his help on my car, it would be NO WHERE near where it is today if it weren't for that guy.

11 second DSM
Finally put the car into the 11's!!!! None of this would have been possible with my good DSM friends that put the car together with me whenever it breaks and have taught me everything I know. Thanks!

DSMs at California Speedway
Feb. 28th 2010 at California Speedway. Eclipse running a s16g, ECMLink, FP2 Cams, 21psi. Talon Evo III 16g, built motor, 91+Meth.
DSM runs 7.9's
Finally got the car back to the local 1/8th, it had been over a year since I made a pass and of course my first launch it breaks. Good thing it was all good after we got her back to the pits, it felt good the next couple runs.
