Upgraded trans cooler is a must. Im running a 10x10 x 3/4" thick trans cooler and using Global ATF, but about to switch over to john Deere hygaurd... as for the shift kit its very streetable, but i dont ever use the shift kit being as i dont use the stock tcu anymore. My car is full manual shifting with the shift box so it has full line pressure shifts up and down to keep the transmission alive and putting up with the abuse i put it through. The shift box shifts at least 5x harder than the shift kit ever did and if your looking to do a shift kit, skip it and just buy a shiftbox from fourced four. It is a shift kit on steroids and will keep the trans alive FAR longer than a shift kit ever would. Literally 0 chance of the trans slipping when its shifting due to the full line pressure. This car is on a stock converter and my other 2g awd auto is on a precision #7 stall converter.

How "streetable" is you car with the shift kit? And how do you like it compaired to stock? Are you running the stock converter? Not new to dsm's but just picked up my first auto, actually same as your 95 talon awd.

What trans fluid are you running? Have you upgraded the trans cooler?
