Hello everyone , I'm sure the this topic has been beatin like a dead horse but never know might find out something new..I just purchased an 05 eclipse gs and trying to plan this out.. so the motor is a solid 2.4 4g64 Sohc but everyone talks about the evo 8 or 4g63 head to bolt on the existing part and make it a DOHC but what if I just left it SOHC and did upgrade let's say pistons, valves, etc etc along with turbo build and I dont mean bottom of barrel upgrades ...would it not still be a good build and get attention? Not saying it has to be in a movie or anything but what are the pros and cons of doing the swap and not doing it.
