Background
Bought from supposed 2nd owner who only owned it for less then 1 year. Best I have been able to diagnose, is it sat due to a miss welded clutch peddle assembly "fix".

Owner I bought it from did pads, rotors, calipers, plugs, wires. Cleaned the fuel tank, new pump (ebay), braided fuel feed line and can style fuel filter. Basically got it running after sitting for a long time. Was going to college and needed to sell it.

On the test drive it had really low clutch engagement that I thought was just needs a new master or slave, also some iffy synchro's due to the clutch issues. Not a big deal. After I bought it, the low engagement issue still persisted after replacing master, slave, clutch and resurfaced flywheel. When I replaced the clutch and flywheel, what I removed looked brand new, kind of weird. Since everything else was new, I removed the peddle assembly. Originally I thought this was good, since there was no shaft play on the clutch assy. Turns out that it was welded in the worn position. Removed the old welds and rewelded it in the correct position and its good to go!

So, it looks like the original owner took really nice care for it. Tried fixing the low peddle engagement and gave up after welding the rod in the wrong position didn't work. It sat for probably 15+ years, guessing outside due to faded clear coat. 2nd owner was sick of fixing the issues and decided to sell it cause of college after owning it for around a year.

I scooped it up about 1 year ago and have been slowly fixing and updating. Started with installing DSM link V3 and starting the base upgrades for higher boost before increasing the #'s, still using stock boost controller. 800cc injectors, new 255 pump, regulator. Suspension has started being gone thru. New KYB struts all around, poly bushings in rear suspension. Front bushings will be next spring. Rebuilt the driveshaft and added solid carrier bushing mounts.

Removed the entire interior and added sound deadening through the entire car. Main reason was to find the last mouse nest that was unable to be find. It was in the headliner btw. Upgraded speakers and head unit at the same time.

Currently having issues with a worn rear end inducing a drivetrain vibration at +60 mph. Only in 5th though. in 4th its fine, kind of annoying driving to work going 3500 rpm at highway speeds.
