- Background
- Bought in 2008 as my daily w/130000 miles. Started upgrading on the cheap. As those upgrades failed/wore out started getting more reliable/expensive updates. Started with a Ebay16g upgraded to a ebay 20g when it died. Then just recently upgraded to a FP 68hta v3. Original engine died at 270,000 due to a sudden loss of oil (seal blew on the oil cooler)Locked everything up. Got a new block from a savage yard from a 97 talon I believe. Had it machined and I personally built the bottom end around 2019/2020. Now in 2024 its no longer my daily but my fair weather car, has 310000 miles and a new turbo.
