Needs new head gasket, will start but doesn't run without repair
My Spyder just had a major repair listed below, BUT the situation from a trusted mechanic's shop was the car ran for one test drive, then stopped and no longer would start. Turns out it's not the spark plugs, etc. but the HEAD gasket and those expensive stretch bolts that go with it at $100 for each and we need 10 of 'em. Repair price: $3400. Is it worth it to save the Eclipse?
