Street Build 1997 2G Spyder GST

Year:
1997
Model/Trim:
Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GST
  • Ownership Status:
    I own it
    Drivetrain:
    FWD
    Transmission Type:
    Automatic
    Build Type:
    • Street
    Background:
Bought it with drive train removed and a few pieces missing. Engine was supposedly rebuilt after spinning a rod bearing but never reinstalled. I had to completely disassemble and reassemble engine and replace a few parts because it was not done correctly by previous person, just trying to get it running and make sure everything works properly before I start upgrading. Once it's running properly my goal is to get it to the 400-600awhp range and do an AWD conversion.

So today I picked up a 95 auto GSX as a donor car for my AWD swap. The engine threw a rod, but the rest of the drivetrain is in working order.
