- my brother brought her from a junkyard then proceeded to make it worst! then it sat for 3 years. WELL i decided to take ownership of it and give it the care it deserves. I think having a red H3 and a red tuner would strike a nice balance between power and efficiency. My goal is to get her into TRUE drivability, inside and out! I know its gonna take ALOT of time, patience and CASH..but you can tell she has spirit just by looking at her.. as for plans and goals..
1. i need to get the doors locks and handles working the handles are broke on both doors. I recently purchased regular ol door handles but plan to upgrade to the aluminum ones i seen someone making. I found out what was missing on the latch and it the metal rod that the handle needs to open the door(not lock cylinder rod the other one).
2.I need to completely replace the top(i brought the top and the stuff needed to put it on from Convertibletopguys, just need the headliner).
3. the carpet(already brought just need to take out everything)
4. the seats. I looked up a few but honestly im lost here.
5. i need to gluedown the cover from the passenger airbag or remove it(found a really cool carbon fiber cover for it)
6.i plan on replacing the moldy steering wheel as well! one of those removeable ones looked cool so my brother brought one(before giving it to me)
in between all that i want to cleanup the engine bay. and replace almost everything( besides the engine..for now!) after i can firmly get her on the road.. then comes the modding.
