Wtb 1g dsm gst/tsi/rs turbo

Hello guys I've been looking for a 1g dsm but it seems a lot of what I've seen on Craigslist is beat to hell and really overpriced. So anybody know where there is any decent 1gs for a decent price? Fwd or awd is fine. Thanks

Needs towed??? Needs flywheel?? If it starts and sounds good, might not be that bad a deal. He's probably asking top dollar for what the car is worth. Saw some after market parts on it.

I would figure the car running in good shape to be worth around $2500. Figure the cost of timing belt, water pump, pulleys, battery, clutch and flywheel. Then it still needs paint. Probably needs tires.

I might offer $500-$750 in its current condition. If it was a cheap fix, he would probably fix it himself.

Alright thanks for the advice I'll go take a look at it tomorrow and decide on how much to offer.
He says
-the engine has been rebuilt and stroked to a 2.3
-aftermarket cams
-full exhaust and intake
-bigger turbo
-apex neo

But I'll have to confirm when I see it.

Lemme get this straight. Stroker, bigger turbo, cams, intake, and exhaust, yet it would appear that they're still using the stock SMIC? Something isn't quite right, but for the right price I'd pick it up.

That thing looks like its sat for a while with all that dirt in the bay. Also all those upgrades and no mention of fuel upgrades??? Make sure its not some ebay turbo on there. If you get it make sure you recirculate the bov.
