Rywire sells a wire harness for 1G that includes certain inputs. Granted this is for a 1G but has similarities.
  • 4 Injectors EV1 (DSM 1G connectors)
  • Alternator 2 position (DSM 1G connector)
  • Coil connector 3 position (DSM 1G connector)
  • Ignitor 8 position flat black (DSM 1G connector)
  • Idle Valve control 6 position (DSM 1G connector)
  • Starter single slip on connector (DSM 1G connector)
  • TPS (DSM 1G connector)
  • Kncok sensor (DSM 1G connector)
  • Ground lug (Ring terminal)
  • ECT sensor (DSM 1G connector)
  • H20 temp gauge (DSM 1G connector)
  • Boost solenoid (DSM 1G connector)
  • CAS (cam/crank) sensor (DSM 1G connector)
  • Electronic VSS (vehicle speed) (DSM 2G connector)
  • MAF (DSM 1G connector - 8 pin square)
  • Injector resistor box plug (DSM 1G connector)
  • 3 ECU plugs (DSM 1G yellow connectors)
  • Main relay plug (DSM 1G connector)

Essentially, figure out what plugs you won't be using, cross reference them with a wiring diagram and eliminate the plugs as you see fit.

Or you could get ahold of @OHM_Racer and see if they could make you a customer harness.

I am building a track car with a 4g63 using SD on ECMLINK and a 2g harness. Are there any posts about the bare minimal wires and sensors we need? IE injectors, coil pack, crank trigger, coolant temp, IAT, MAP sensor, knock retard, wideband(with narrowband simulation), ignition switch, alternator etc....

I have no idea who used this for making a harness so far but just by giving a quick glance at it, take a look at pin 82 (ignition switch) touching Pin 13 (Ground). That right there is a fried ECU guaranteed.

I recommend you use the 2G electrical schematics Manual if you plan to tackle this job by yourself. :thumb:
