Hey guys,
A few years back my dad gave me his 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS. He loved this car and had work done on it in the past. He doesn't remember all of the things that he had done on it, but I can tell you that it is not your standard RS. The only things that are easily noticeable is the after market intake, and the exhaust. Don't worry, he did not put on a "fart cannon" this is a mean sounding exhaust. He also told me that he had the engine worked on, but does not know what his friends did. He was just surprised by how it performed once he got it back. What I was wondering was, what can or should i do next to bring my car to the next level. Ok, I know that my version has the 420A engine, that many may argue does not have the capabilities of the 4g63. But, what can this car achieve? I have read forums of people turboing the 420A, but many have argued that it would be better to buy a GST or GSX due to the factory internals not being able to put up with a turbo. Thank you, and I am happy to be a part of DSM tuners.
Summary Questions:
What can be done to bring RS to next level?
Is Turboing worth it?
Websites and Parts that I should be looking for?
