These local event forums are to be used for Event organization. Each thread should focus on one specific event or planning of a specific event, not an ongoing generic discussion for locals to discuss BS with other locals. That's what the Hangout is for. No classified ads, tech questions, or other topics which belong in the other more appropriate forums.
In order to make this forum more effective, we ask that you stay on topic in each thread and keep personal conversations out unless it pertains to the event being discussed. The title of your thread in this forum should include the DATE, LOCATION, and AREA where the meet will take place. If you are looking to organize an event, the title should include the AREA and DATE where you would like to plan an event or meet. Post all the info about each event/meet in the thread and post the event/meet in the Calendar once it's official:
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/calendar.php
This way everyone knows about it and doesn't have to sift through posts to find the event info once it's buried. You can always go in and edit the meet info in the Calendar.
Also, instead of asking, anyone from "XXXX"? Try searching this forum for your city/state first with the search bar at the top of the forum. Thanks.
