Today went out to start the car. Car idle rough, seem like its choking. I pressed the gas paddle a few times, and now RPM would rev up to 3000 and stay there. I have no clue whats going on so please help.

sidenote* engine is newly swap in with about 45000 miles. Everything is still stock.

    Thanks

Check to make sure you dont have a vacuum leak, your throttle cable is stuck,or your idle air control motor might be stuck open, when they fail they stick open and you will idle very high.

    Thanks,

Over the weekend I am going to check up on the engine. I need to trace all the vaccum hose to see if they are hook up right.
