I know the SA forum is dead as hell, but it's worth a shot. Anyone recomend a good shop to get my GST tuned at? It's a 97 with ECMlink V3. I'd do it myself, but I'm worried I'll screw something up. If I had someone explain the process to me as we were doing it, I could grasp it. However, just reading the ecmtuning how-to's and then trying it on my car is not exactly the way I learn. I've been recommended Noribilt by a friend so I'm considering there. I know JMS won't touch DSM with a 12 ft pole unless it just came off the showroom floor. And when I got the car tuned with a 98 ecu at Precision R, I didn't like the way the guys talked to me and treated me. William basically told me my engine was shit compared to an S2000 motor. I didn't feel like I was getting quality service there. Any help is appreciated. and If you want to help me street tune it, I can always supply a six pack for afterwards!

SAFC tuning here ;)

Not much. Chillin at work. All I do is stroll the forums for 8hrs a day :(

Daniel with ProFab in Kirby. He has done many vehicles...from a 450+ Cobalt SS, Camaro SS, 425+ B18 Civic, SR20-drift build, 750+ Civic
I saw your 2g running at IFO back in Dec. Nice

It was her maiden voyage at the track. I wanted to see what she would run at the track..before I pop her cherry and tear the motor apart. I ran 3 times and the 3rd time felt like it was faster than the first 2, only thing that sucked is that they cut off the timing my 3rd run... so I was not able to see what I ran.

I think Hal Landry is a few hours away from you. I don't have contact info or anything.

Nice. What times did you run? Are you part of the SATX DSMtuners group on Facebook?

Yea car should have been quicker than that. But everyone has got to start somewhere. When are you planning to complete the current build on it?

Its not tuned for one thing..my friend couldnt get it running so i bought it. previous owner before him had it as a show car..so they installed a fmic and a half wired greddy emanage.
My plans are to pull the motor, drop a full rotating assembly, head stud, main stud(maybe), bigger injectors, dsm link it, and run speed density. And if I can find a 6 bolt I plan to do the same build. Also rebuild the transmission on it.

Whats wrong with the motor? Low compression?
