Installation of this kit is pretty straight forward but I figured it wouldn't hurt to write up an installation guide anyway.
First things first. Unbolt and remove all three factory pieces. I didn't cover this process because it's self explanatory and because the car used in this write-up already had them removed.
It's best to start with the k-member braces. Included with the kit is (4) 40mm long bolts and (2) 65mm long bolts and the washers for those bolts. The 65mm bolts go to the forward most hole on each plate and the 40mm bots are for all other holes.
Start with the 2-hole passenger side plate. Install it in place with only the rear bolt snugged up with your fingers. Do not tighten this bolt up just yet.
Next is the 4-bolt drivers side plate. At the rear of the plate, fit the edge of it up under the edge of the rubber bushing, and then lay the plate flat. Install the 40mm bolts finger snug - do not fully tighten these yet either.
After the plates are on, bolt on the main crossmember bar. Use the OE nuts and no washers. Using a washer only takes away from thread engagement here.
Now onto the parallel bars. Use the supplied 1/2" bolts and nuts to attach them on the crossmember end first. No washers needed here either.
At the rear connection, slide the aluminum bushing into the heim so that the step portion is between the heim and the plate. Use the 65mm bolts and washers to bolt these up. Once they're attached, you can torque down all six bolts on the k-member plates.
After the parallel bars are up, tighten down the jam nuts on each end.
And that's it. Enjoy!
