I bought this gst a few months ago with the goals of having a zippy dd car. This is how I got it. motor install incomplete, sitting on 4 spares and all.

Getting things wired up for a test fire.

After running for a few min shut her down and checked for leakes. A little history on the car. The original motor blew so they replaced it with a jdm long block. They couldn't get it to to start because of a different cas. I rewired the cas and it fired right up. Now to the problem. I spoted a leak and traced it to a weird location, one of the injector rail bolts was leaking oil! Doh

So pulled the head off and sent it out. With the head off I then proceded to check out the rest of the engine bay. Found some missing bolts and a stock clutch. So I then decided not to risk it and pulled every thing out of the engine bay and go over it and paint the engine bay.

Other than putting it back in and hooking it back up the motor is done , time for the trans to get some attention.

When I got the the car it had 4 spares on it . well it made it a pain to load on the trailer because they were the wrong size. so to get it off the trailer I had to put these on for the time being till my other wheels made it in.

I picked these up for the gst ,used but brand new never mounted for 400 for the set, 18x8 3/4 with a 20 offset.

Test fire went well this past weekend. Had a oil leak at the turbo drain , fixed that. Have to set biss and put the sheet metal back on and talon sides. Have to get it to the shop for inspection, alignment, and recharge the a/c. Then once tagged I can go thru the tunning processes.
