Basic rundown on the car is
Aluminum rod 2.0
Auto awd
Bradco converter
Mechanical fuel pump
Forward facing exh manifold
Magnus cast intake
Gt4202r
Direct port
Started off by picking up a pretty clean shell with a 10 point chromoly cage, carbon fiber hood, battery relocated to the rear, switch panel with only the necessary wiring, evo steering wheel etc.#

Then I picked up a motor locally that has eagle/Ross bottom end, arp main/head studs, hks 272's, dual valve springs, etc. Sold the 272's and switched to 280's, also swapped out the eagle/Ross combo for grp/wiseco hd's. The eagle/Ross are fs btw

Then moved back onto the chassis, cut the front end off from the strut towers forward to make room for a forward facing exh manifold#

Not real happy with the upper tubing I used for mounting the headlights and such so I recently purchased a tubing bender to redo that and make it look a little better

Then got started on the exhaust manifold, I plan on running methanol sometime in the near future, but for the time being its going to be on gas so I made it work with an a2a ic.#

Manifold is twin scroll and uses 2 precision 46mm gates. Started off with a Borg Warner 72mm, thinking it was actually a 74. Sold it, and picked up a slightly used gt4202r.
 
After the manifold was finished, moved on to the rear and made a bolt in parachute mount.#

Picked up some tce/will wood rear brakes and a frontline fab girdled rear diff cover

Started on the charge pipes and picked up a Magnus cast intake manifold. Used vibrant performance oringed vband assemblies for the cold side, and 3.5" alum tubing. Had to pie cut going into the throttle body, but it turned out pretty good.#

I didn't want the turbo to directly connect to the ic for fear of the connection cracking or not lining up perfectly if the motor is taken out then put back in. So I had to pie cut again, but I like the idea of having a silicone coupler there. It's temporary anyways just until I switch to methanol or air to water.#

The ic is a 4" precision core with custom end tanks.#
Picked up a set of 15" rota slipstreams and m&h slicks

Made a chromoly rear roll stop

Made a gauge cluster that holds a tach, wide band and oil pressure gauges

I'll try and keep this as up to date as I can, should get started back on it as soon as it warms up a little. Gotta thank Jesse Abele for all the help and hooking me up on some parts along the way.#

very nice, how are you mounting the front bumper with the rails blocked off like that?
The front bumper mounts to the plate in the front just under the hood, and the sides mount on the bottom of the fenders.
 
Nice build! Everyone is going tubular front-end and Forward-facing manifold setup. :hellyeah:

You need to get the TCE drag front brake kit to compliment the rear. Also good time to upgrade the wheel studs and maybe do the bushings and wheel bearings.

Sold my miller Syncrowave 200 and ordered a htp 221. Also picked up some more chromoly tubing yesterday. As soon as the new welder shows up I'm going to start on a better designed upper bar to hold my headlights, hood pins, radiator, etc.
 
Worked on the car a little bit today. Bent the new upper bar for the headlights and bumper mounts. Welded plates to the upper frame rail, which sucked by the way. That metal was as thin as a piece of paper. I'll likely go back over the welds with a mig. I made it pin on and off using moroso quick release ball pins. I'll be adding 2 more bars to it tomorrow, going from the upper down to the lower for more support. That will pin on as we'll.
