I've been searching with no luck. Does the injector resistor pack need to be grounded through the body of the unit or can it be insulated? Thanks in advance

It has 5 wires going to it. A switched 12V, that goes through individual resistors to each injector. Nothing on that ties to ground, or needs to be grounded.

Ok thanks.

Rather than delete this old post, which answers the question of grounding (there is no ground needed or used), it missed the key reason why the injector resistor pack is bolted to the firewall, and that is to act as a heatsink.
