As some of you 420a owners know its hard finding the right engine oil cap you want or they are very limited.(I myself havent found one that directly fits my thread and looks clean) I decided why not use my OEM cap and fabricate it to whichever top I choose.
First you will need a replacement OEM cap so you dont damage yours.

Second find the oil cap you intend on using for your engine.( i simply used a billet red one for a 4g63 for this purpose only.

Third pick up some JB cold weld from a local hardware or automotive shop.(any plastic heavy duty EPOXY works just as well)

On your stock cap seperate the thread part from the cover by using a flathead tip screw driver to push the clips over the spring part of the over on both sides.

clean the surface on both the new cover and the old thread on which the JB weld will set. Mix the compound and spread it evenly not putting too much too where it will ooze out the sides. Carefully set the Cover over the thread using a cloth to wipe the edges of any over run. Hold the two together for a few minutes to keep the two from separating. Allow a full cure of the finished product (let it sit overnight and was fine)
The final result should look like mine

I had no issues with heat or having it separate so far and holds pretty well when I hand tighten it or loosen it. Please allow maximum curing time or you will waste your time when you go to tighten it. I gave mine a few tugs to be on the safe side before threading it. ENJOY!
