It's the way all the mirage guys do it and I did it to my spyder. We do it to the evo swaps since mirage belts are tan or grey and only black came in the evo 1-6 and are way to much money.

Required materials.
lacquer thinner
spray paint

Step 1:
Remove your seat belt from the car. Reminder to remove all platsic pieces because the following steps will destroy them. REMOVE PLASTIC PIECES or if you're super careful you can leave them on..LOL

Step 2:
Clean the seat belts wanting to be dyed with hot water and some soap. I used oxy clean by BILLY f'ing MAYS because HE'S THE MAN, AND EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW IT! After washing the seat belt, let air dry. Depending on where you are it could take anywhere from 10 minutes to 40 minutes. In the meantime, drink beers.

Step 3:
Now to the fun destroy your plastics part.
-What you'll do here in your bowl or whatever you're going to dunk your belt in, put your belt in, and pour enough thinner into your bowl/dish/thingy to soak the belt, and let them soak for about idk...5-10 seconds.

Step 4: Dye that OEM
With your belt completely soaking wet in laquer thinner, hang it up and begin the dying process with your {insert whatever brand of spray-paint]. Unlike the normal process of using a rattle can and doing stripes and having a second or two between coats, you want to soak this thing like a wet t-shirt contest gone porno. The lacquer thinner will then allow the paint to go into every crevasse and ensure an even coat.

Step 5:
Cleanup really, if you got any paint onto your metal bits and hardware you can use the lacquer thinner to clean those off and viola. JDM evo belts on the cheap or just black belts in a dsm

When I did my spyder. I used 3G spyder belts. For that you need to use the belt from the 3G and use the bracket, ect from the 2g.

Pull the belt all the way out. There will be a metal or plastic pin in the bottom. Hold the roller pull the belt out and find something to slip into the roller so it will not wind back up.

The 3G belt will not come apart like the 2g set up so just destroy it since all you want is the belt out of it
