Because it's a single synchro. If you want a double synchro 2nd, use 93+ parts.

Yes, but only on 2nd gear. They also went to a larger 3-4 synchro, with a much weaker hub/slider.

I recon that n/t trans use all the same synchros 1-5th gear. get the numbers off the bellhousing tho.
