Just copied from my CL ad. Since I got the Galant and I wound up just getting the clutch replaced on my GST I decided not to use this. I really only bought it for the LSD but I'm sure if you fix it would be a good tranny.
I bought this Shep rebuilt FWD manual transmission last year off of someone and wound up never repairing and installing it. It is a rebuilt Shep transmission with taller gears, upgraded syncros, and best of all a Wavetrac LSD.
The bad:
Needs repair, needs a new shift fork installed
Needs some kinda cast clutch thing on the front
Supposedly has a hairline crack on the bellhousing but doesn't affect it holds tranny fluid fine.
Both of these items can be from your stock transmission. Because of these problems it was supposedly getting stuck in gear. If you do your own tranny work this is a bargain and I'm sure a shop that specializes in transmission repair could work on this for you.
The LSD alone is worth almost 1k I am asking 700obo
