Hello! I've owned my Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 1997 since late summer of '15 and it's my first car. I must say it's a very nice car that draws attention. I've done some small things to it like installing RGB LED strips underneath, connected to an Arduino microcontroller which is controlled by a home-made Android app on my phone. It looks pretty neat!
I'm completely new to anything that's car-related and the intense interest that I now have is something that has developed over the last year.
I'm now looking forward to summer, when I'll do an engine "overhaul", changing gaskets from top to bottom and also changing piston rings as my compression test suggests that they are a bit worn. I'd also love to do a bigger project like perhaps installing a turbo, but I'm a bit withdrawn when it comes to these bigger "mechanical" projects as I'm pretty afraid to screw something up. I guess this is normal? Haha. Other than that, I'm eighteen years old and got my drivers license about three months ago and I've spent large amounts of time on the road in my Eclipse and it's been great. I'm missing the choochoo sounds of a turbo, though! I'll try to be as active as I can and include myself, there seems to be alot of smart and experienced people here and I'm sure I'll need it at some point

Already watched some videos on YouTube and that's very helpfull. Even went and bought lots of zipbags and labels so I can label everything I pull apart and organize it!
