I thought I'd share the control arms I put together. Thought about going the AFCO route, but wanted to retain the slight bend the OE arms have to avoid the risk of chassis contact.
So onto the parts needed
2 turnbuckle/jack screws, I used M16x2.00. One end is RH thread and the other is LH.
2 RH, and 2 LH threaded bungs.
2RH, and 2 LH stainless locknuts.
SAE hardware probably would've been easier to source, but I wanted to keep all the fasteners metric.
The hardware was about $50, and I already new ball joints and full ES poly bushing set ready to go for the suspension refresh I had planned.
I cut an inch out the the factory arms so that at the shortest setting they stayed the same length as the originals.
Topped it off with some DIY powder coating using the HF system.
