Hey whats krackin?I was wondering if I can get some input on my issue. So I was driving on the freeway when I started hearing a weird kind of Drilling sound when the turbo boost spooled on acceleration, unknowing what it could be I turned around and headed home and it was then that I heard a Pop sound and immediately after that I saw a cloud of smoke behind me as i pulled in, Parked up to open hood and found the exhaust manifold was burning red hot, almost like it was gonna catch fire. FML!!! Next day I check under the hood and see nothing out of the ordinary, I was assuming I blew the head gasket but after checking antifreeze and oil for cross contamination I concluded that it wasn't the head gasket (I hope not), then i go check under the car to find excess oil dripping and leaking from the bottom of my turbo, I read all related posts to this situation and figured the smoking exhaust is due to the turbo having had blown. Car Idles good, but has not power during acceleration and continues to blow smoke while turned on. I have pics posted to help out describing what i'm talking about.
I love my GS-T, I'll do what it takes to keep it.
Any help from you DSM O.G's is Highly appreciated.
Thanks.
