Sulphur springs,
Texas
1998 spyder gs 2.4 na.
Vehicle is driven approximately 200 miles daily on the highway with no symptoms. MPG seems appropriate.
"Lock up" solenoid appears to be close on resistance and can hear it clicking if voltage is directly applied to the connector.
What are the chances that the solenoid is still defective, or what is the likelihood of TCM has being bad, or is it a sign of internal problems and probably on its last legs? The transmission was purchased a couple years ago from a 2G DSM enthusiasts who stated to have been recently rebuilt with a shift kit installed.
Any further insight or tests I can perform would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
