98 Red RS, 119k miles, $1,000 cash, needs some work, both big and small. Basically, I'm asking $500 for the car and $500 for the new, in box parts and used parts that will come with it. She was my daily driver until my brother backed into the driver side door and the headgasket blew out (the usual DS spot by the firewall). Parked her while I acquired parts and began the long process of restoring her. Now I'm forced to move at short notice, can't take the car, and its just time for her to go.
New parts!
ARP Head studs
Timing belt kit w/ water pump
A/C and alternator belts
Shift cables (brand new from the stealership, cost me ~$275)
Haynes repair manual
Used parts. (not exciting enough for exclamations)
Front bumper (old one has cracks, this one has fewer)
Trunk cargo cover (bought one off CL cause mine didn't have one)
Passenger air bag (same CL deal cause the original is peeling)
Pros!
A/C works* (minor note in cons)
Clean title
<120k miles!
5 speed
Rebuilt head at 100k miles (timing belt snapped a week after I got it because I didn't research before purchasing)
Never been modded
New clutch and tires
Comes with new, in box parts!
Comes with a free car cover!
Cheap!
Cons
A/C box under dash and drain tube need to be cleared
Needs DS interior panel and switches (got the door replaced, but Miller sent me electric instead of manual. My bad, I didn't specify when I ordered and was going to convert anyways)
Interior is partially diaassembled, but all parts are there
Headgasket time!
Those parts need to be installed
Needs passenger door handle
