Build Thread Update*** 8/6/2016
Quick Overview of this thread.
-Page 1-13 After 4 years of building my 97 GSX, I made 510hp on 93pump using a PTE6262 running a 2.3L stroker motor, on a DynoDynamics Dyno. Drove it a bunch, and broke T-case's and other parts.
-Page 13 Sold the GSX and bought an EVO 9.
-Page 14-15 Finished college. Sold my Evo, and bought a house in 2015.
-Page 14-15 Cont.. Fast forward to March 2016. I was made aware that my old GSX was for sale. Talked to the owner, and I tried to buy it back. Unfortunately that deal fell through, and someone offered him more $$$. New owner of the GSX is in Southern VA. Great guy, I am happy the car ended up with someone like him. Then it hit me, I did miss the DSM community some. I Jumped back on Tuners, got up-to-date on all the changes. Uploaded a lot of missing pictures from when i started this thread. And now I am on the Hunt for a new Build. Looking for a 99 GSX with Black interior. Looking to build a Street, Drag, Roll Race Car.
It is a great time to own a DSM. Records are being broken, New parts and turbo tech is available. Making more power is much easier. Plus some new AERO options that weren't available back in 2012.

OLD BUILD Thread INFO: 2009-2013
Well this story starts off by me saying i bleed DSM ... so after selling my 95 gst a year ago i realized i couldn't live without a DSM in my Drive way.. so my quest for my new money pit began!!!
As of yesterday i am the Proud owner of a Silver 97 gsx shelll.. i found it here on tuners classifieds after searching everyday on here for the last 3 months; the car was in Rhode Island, about 9 hours from where i live in Va. From start to finish i clocked about 1100 miles and 18 hrs Props to Justin Good (turbo1307) for the use of his trailer.. i owe ya!
I bought the shell it From a guy named Brad (SFracinggst)? all i have to say is brad is one hell of a good guy. went above and beyond what i would expect of any seller to do, thanks again man! your baby has a good new home. keep in touch
My initial plan for this build is a fully functional strip/ street car, with the occasional track weekend...
Mods List is below and accurate.

2.Updating interior (repainting, cleaning, and refreshing panels, and metal pieces. Black carpet,Micro Sued black headliner)
