90 mirage awd turbo project

Hi everyone I'm Joey. Well I've always wanted to do a mirage/colt hatch project but never got around to it and there are not that easy to find in Florida. So back in November 2012 I picked this 90 mirage up with an awd swap already in it. It also came with a few other goodies. Will be using the motor from my last 95 eclipse gst that had a built 6 bolt. Transmission from a 93 gsx that I will be rebuilding. The car was set up for drag racing I will be making it a street/drag toy. Will keep posting as things fall into place.

Last setup before I purchased it. Car was originally built by jaytech tuning & fabrication.

Any idea how the rear end was fabricated in ? I've owned several mirage turbo FWD's but always wanted AWD . The stock beam axle setup is lacking. Was a cyborg floorpan and subframe utilized, or is it tube steel fabricated ? And how the heck does the fuel pump get fuel from both halves of the gas tank ? These are hurdles that kept me from chopping mine up. Please tell me how, so i start another foolish project !! You're going to have fun once that enormous turbo spools !

Using a 1g rear with two 4x2 box beams to support it. You will have to go with a fuel cell with inline fuel pump. Check out 4g61.org. I can't wait to finish

Sold original motor building fresh motor 6 bolt & 7 bolt head with kelford 272

Project is on hold for about 3 more months while I finish my dd. MK3 supra with 1.5jz hx52
