I am awaiting a gasket for the ewg blockoff. I sold the ewg and pulled the gaskets to sell. While it was down, i figured out the reverse wire and VSS for the speedo wire hookups. I should be able get the launch control and speed functions finished now. I also deleted the auto-retract seatbelt wires up to the fusebox. Way too much clutter before. I had a high idle problem that was fixed by eliminating the IAC. if it isnt in the loop it can't cause problems :)

As soon as i get the gasket i can get the car on the road to get inspected and then it's off to the track to run it. The tune is good but im gonna have it refined a bit for power. I am hoping for a 12.5 or below best case. Nobody thinks it will run fast but its 2,040lbs and like 300hp lulz.

Im going mini rotors because:
-they are drop in
-gsx calipers on my hubs fit perfectly to the radius of the calipers
-they told me to use em on mirage forums LOL
-this setup will clear my wheels
-i can get them anywhere for cheap.

What I did today:
-fabbed up a seat base (4hrs)
-installed seat
-smiled
-drove to Rita's for a free water ice
-went to the gun range (pew pew!)
-broke clutch cable on the way home, RIGHT in front of my development
-LOL'd
-ordered new cable (arrives tomorrow)
-failed to McGuyver the old cable using crimps (ended up being too short, darn)

I havent posted in here in awhile.....I guess I will.

Precision FMIC and reused old 2G hard pipes that were cut to fit and re-beaded. I turned the boost up to 22psi, 15-22deg timing from 3500-7K. car is fun and not safe.

Megan camber arms are in, Toe arms just arrived, new tires and paint on the bumpers and rear wing in progress. EIII replica fiberglass wing arrived today.

I got in a walker flexpipe. Nice and heavy duty. Mine is so bad and the car sounds really ricey mexicali bad haha.

UPDATE: car is back on the road. Doing fine.

the skirts are 5g mirage side skirts heated and reformed to fit. rear pods are fiberglass JDM lancer coupe reps from Puerto Rico. VERY hard to find OEM.

MORE CHANGES!:

Wheels went satin black. I needed a change. Im lovong the new look. Veey pleased. Rotor rust was painted over and calipers will need more red paint applied soon.


Subaru scoop is on. Turned out well. I need to do some minor cutting of the support so the scoop isnt flexing on it. No biggy. You can really feel the heat coming out of it. Im sure it will assist in lowering under hood temps and pressures

Vent is race car bolted on, and i used peel n seal to fully seal in the fmic to the rad for good air flow. I didnt have any cooling issues, but for $16 it will make a great difference and now the heat can escape put the hood as well.

bump.

car is now 2g GS-T trans swapped. i have 500mi on the swap so far. you have to mod the trans case a bit as well as use 1g awd abd 2g fwd axle parts for it to fit. i will dump that info here in a bit.

i will be at East Coast MOD tomorrow in philly as well.

i also reinstalled the rear seatbelts. other than that its the same. lovin it!

new konig 16x7 backbones with 205/45's (i need 225s now) new front wheel bearings, new MOOG front a arms and put tie rod ends, tune is good, car doing well.

i decided to clay bar, deep cut compound and wax the car. still working on the rear bumper and the wing is off and repainted, awaiting cure time and some wax. it stays on because it reay does reduce lift above 100mph. its felt.

car looks and feels way nicer. original paint shines!

and yes these are very hard to get after cash for clunkers happened. this is an RS style with no options at all....i looked for 6 months to find one and i got lucky with this find.

UPDATE TIME: sorry been slacking in this forum for uodates. all of this has been done. on my 7th trans. after this one pops im going auto and paddles.

-3" full 304 brushed SS catback was custom fabricated and Tig'd by Elliot Maher, and reinforced at the muffler area for strength. i used the always wonderful Megan that sounds so good.
-New pads and rotors are on.
-4pt cage was just put in. working on painting that and getting fixed back drivers seat/harnesses in. its primered for now.
-ECU boost control is operational.
-225/45R16 toyo R1R on Konig Dekagras in the front, fenders pulled and rolled.
-205/50R16 General Gmax AS-05 on Konig Backbones in the rear.
-Silvers Neomax coilovers are in.
-EVO III turbo redone to a Billet Bastard Td05 20g by Jusmx141.
-38-40lbs min airflow peak.
-new Doorman 2g mani ordered, and then bored to 60mm and smoothed all ports leading in as well as general cleanup of casting marks inside. also lightly corner broke the step in the hotside to smooth that in.

-I need to install the new trailing arm bushings and camber arms to finish up the rear susp.
