Ok first let me just say this is not my first build but it is my first documented build so i may miss things here and there that i have done and did not list also i have only had this car about 2 months and it was snowing for the first month and a half .
I found this car on a back country road under a tree and remembering what my first dsm was like i just had to have it . after 3 months of searching for the owner i finnaly found him . He was not will to sell and i told him my offer would stand 2 weeks later i get a call to come get it if i want it . The car did not run when i got it and you could tell it had been sitting for years . But it was unmolested it still had the stock air box and muffler.
day 1
After messing around with it for about in hour the fuel pump was trash and plugs where gone .
So I got new plugs and 340 aeromotive pump and a afpr that came with the pump not sure the brand looks good but thats all i know about it. The car fired right up and the monster breathed again. But it ran pig rich and even after changing o2 sensor did not change much so digging after and hour i found
the acid some stuff might be fix able but i have the gsx that is rusting in place and so the donor car was born.If your reading this and think oh no dont rip parts off the gsx for the tsi the frame on the gsx is damn near rusted in half and is unsafe for travel.
So h8 ecu is installed on the talon and 1g cas installed. did not picture this but will have pics soon

Now the talon is running almost as good as a stock dsm should
i did quick mantanic timing belt acc belt new wires fuel filter brakes rotors
A quick run to the track revealed it like to over heat when driving over 70 mph
so rechecked my timing and exhaust cam was off one tooth and then back on the road we went.
A greedy profect boost controller and turbo timer where in stalled along with a boost meter wide band o2 and oil pressure gauge .
I got board installed a front mount i had laying around and some projector head lights
I hated the lag it has made but looked ok. It was time to clean the interor witch was trashed and i think had a village of mice in it .
I hated how high the stock ride hiegth was so it was time to drop it with some springs and get rid of the ugly spary painted rims and puts some nice 18s on it
then because the body was trashed I started a 2gb eclipse conversion with bigger innercoolier
now that the little t25 was really screaming all the time i added the turbo off the gsx
what a diffrence even with just a 7psi spring in the wastegate
more 2gb parts installed
top pic is of the cluster i replaced in the car the bottom is the orignial it was the closes to actuall miles i could find
